Grand Shivaratri fair to be held at Thulakedar dham on Falgun 3

Dhangadhi: A grand Shivaratri fair, along with a special puja program, will be organized at Thulakedar Dham in southern Doti, a site of both religious and tourist significance, on Falgun 3.

The local organizing committee expects hundreds of thousands of devotees to attend the event. Special rituals, including the recitation of Rudri, lighting of the Mahadeep, and formal worship of Lord Shiva, will be conducted, according to Ganeshraj Joshi, Executive Officer of the Badikedar Tourism Development and Management Committee.

Every year on Shivaratri, a large number of pilgrims visit the dham for worship, darshan, and religious ceremonies. The fair has also played a key role in promoting tourism in the area, which is known for its natural beauty.

The organizing committee has intensified preparations for security, health services, and essential physical infrastructure to ensure smooth management of the event. Devotees and pilgrims are cordially invited to participate in the fair and receive its religious blessings.
