Sixth session of Sudurpaschim provincial assembly concludes

Dhangadhi: The sixth, or budget, session of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly has officially concluded, effective from 12 midnight on Sunday, following the recommendation of the provincial government.

Yubaraj Jaisi, Information Officer of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, stated that a formal letter to end the current session was received from Provincial Chief Nazir Mian in accordance with Article 183, Clause 920 of the Constitution of Nepal.

The Provincial Assembly had been unable to function for several months after its building was burned on Bhadra 24 during the Genji movement. The current session, which began on Jestha 11, was held successfully before its conclusion.
