Dhangadhi: Dr. Anand Bahadur Chand, the National Independent Party (RSP) candidate for the House of Representatives from Kailali Constituency No. 5, has begun his door-to-door election campaign from the residence of Genji Movement martyr Gaurav Joshi.

Chand initiated his campaign on Friday by visiting the home of martyr Gaurav Joshi and seeking blessings from his mother, informed campaign committee member Nitish Joshi. After the visit, Chand remembered martyr Joshi as a symbol of the conscious youth who seek change in the country.

“Genji Movement martyr Gaurav Joshi is the pride of our Kailali,” Chand said. “He joined the movement with a questioning and thoughtful voice, believing that the country should change.”

During the interaction, martyr Joshi’s mother became emotional and urged Chand to fulfill her son’s dream. “We have lost our son,” she said, adding that the purpose for which her son joined the movement should be fulfilled and the country should be built accordingly.
