Security agencies celebrate Phulpati arrival in Kailali on seventh day of Bada Dashain

Dhangadhi: Security agencies in Kailali celebrated the arrival of Phulpati with enthusiasm and ceremony on the seventh day of Bada Dashain.

The Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force brought in the Phulpati in Dhangadhi following formal religious rituals. The procession took place after prayers were performed at the Naina Devi and Ban Devi temples.

During the Phulpati procession, the security agencies also performed ceremonial celebratory salutes.

On this day, Phulpati is traditionally brought into the Dashain Ghar, or designated prayer room, where Kalaratri—the seventh of the nine forms of Goddess Durga, known as Navadurga—is worshipped according to prescribed rituals.
