Darchula: Residents of Lekam Rural Municipality-5 have begun constructing the Tridev Dham Road through community labor, aiming to connect three key religious sites within the ward—Malikarjun Temple, Kusmawati Temple, and Latinath Temple. Social worker Umakanta Bista informed that the project is being carried out entirely through public participation.

According to Bista, the road construction, which started on November 20, requires a total of 2,500 meters to be built. Of this, 1,276 meters have been completed as of Monday. “We are building the road through public labor, and all the villagers have provided strong support,” he said.

Local residents have been actively involved, contributing both financially and by renting machinery for the work. The entire ward has demonstrated a unified commitment to advancing the development of their community.
