Fugitive arrested in Kanchanpur following theft conviction

Kanchanpur: A fugitive convicted in a theft case has been arrested in Kanchanpur.

Police detained Prakash Saund, 25, of Shantitol, Dodhara Chandani Municipality-9, who had been absconding after the District Court Kanchanpur sentenced him on Asoj 15, 2077, to one year and six months in prison along with a fine of Rs 20,000.

A team from the Area Police Office, Dodhara Chandani, apprehended Saund at his residence on Saturday.
