Chand appointed in-charge of newly formed Kailali police patrol team

Dhangadhi: The District Police Office Kailali has formed a new patrol team, dissolving the previous one. The newly established team will operate in plain clothes.

According to sources, Senior Inspector Lokendra Chand Thakuri has been appointed as the in-charge of the patrol team. The four-member team under Chand’s command has already begun its operations.

Although the Police Headquarters has occasionally directed against maintaining patrol teams, local police offices continue to form them, citing the need for crime investigation and information gathering.
