Chief Minister Shah directs provincial offices to resume services promptly
Dhangadhi: The Sudurpaschim provincial government has initiated efforts to restore services from provincial offices at the earliest, following the widespread destruction of physical structures during the Genji protests on Bhadra 23 and 24. The service flow from provincial offices has been severely disrupted since the incidents.
Acknowledging the difficulties faced by the public due to the disruption, Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah convened a meeting on Thursday with government employees and development partners. The discussions focused on both the reconstruction of damaged structures and the swift resumption of office operations to ensure essential services are delivered to citizens.
Chief Minister Shah instructed employees to begin operating the offices without delay, stressing that it is the government’s duty to serve the people even under challenging circumstances. He also underscored the importance of coordinated efforts with development partners for the reconstruction process.
Earlier, on Tuesday, Chief Minister Shah had personally inspected the physical structures of 29 provincial offices that were destroyed during the protests.
