Australian star Chris Lynn to join Sudurpaschim Royals in Nepal Premier League
Dhangadhi: Sudurpaschim Royals have signed Australian batter Chris Lynn as the first foreign player for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Lynn has amassed over 8,000 runs in 293 T20 matches.
Renowned for his aggressive batting, Lynn has represented Australia in 18 T20 Internationals and four One-Day Internationals. He is also the highest run-scorer and leading six-hitter in the Australian Big Bash League and has extensive experience playing in franchise leagues worldwide, including the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Team owner Swatantra Pratap Shah stated that Lynn’s addition strengthens the team and elevates the prestige of the NPL. Lynn expressed excitement about playing in the tournament and said he looks forward to competing alongside Nepali cricket enthusiasts and talented players to make the league even more thrilling.
