Dhangadhi boutique owner Salma Kunwar donates to Manav Sewa Ashram on her birthday
Dhangadhi: Salma Kunwar, owner of Salma Boutique and Collection in Dhangadhi-1 Park Mode, celebrated her birthday by supporting Manav Sewa Ashram with food supplies and sirakha worth Rs 50,000.
Kunwar stated that instead of spending lavishly on a party, she chose to help the helpless. On Thursday, she donated 125 kg of Mega Mansuli rice, 20 liters of cooking oil, 25 kg of mixed dal, and 10 bags of fiber sirakha to the ashram.
She expressed admiration for the work and service spirit of Manav Sewa Ashram, which has expanded to 23 locations in 19 districts across Nepal. Kunwar, who has been active in the boutique business in Dhangadhi since her youth, emphasized the importance of businesspeople contributing to social causes. "Business should not only be about profit but also about making a difference in society. This belief inspired me to support the humanitarian sector on my birthday," Kunwar remarked.
