Dhangadhi: Two planes departing from Dhangadhi in Kailali were forced to make emergency landings at Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj following a plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport.

The emergency landings occurred after a Shaurya Airlines plane crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport, leading to a temporary halt of flights and landings at the airport. This disruption prompted the diversion of incoming flights from Dhangadhi.

Specific Flights Affected 1. Buddha Airlines Flight: - Departure: Dhangadhi Airport at 10:53 PM. - Emergency Landing: Nepalgunj Airport. - Reason: Diversion due to the crash incident at Tribhuvan International Airport. 2. Shree Airlines Flight: - Departure: Dhangadhi Airport after 10:30 AM.

- Emergency Landing: Bhairahawa Airport. - Additional Impact: Shree Airlines canceled its 1:50 PM flight from Dhangadhi to Kathmandu. Ganesh Bahadur Singh, Head of Dhangadhi Airport Office, confirmed the diversions and the subsequent emergency landings.

The measures were taken to ensure the safety of passengers and aircraft amidst the disruption caused by the crash.
