Landslide Blocks Jai Prithvi Highway in Bajhang

Bajhang: A significant landslide at Jalebagar has obstructed the Jai Prithvi Highway, causing a major disruption in traffic flow.

The Provincial Traffic Police Office in Attaria reported that the landslide occurred in Chabispathivera Rural Municipality-1, Jalebagar. This incident has resulted in the complete blockage of the highway, which is a crucial route for connecting Chainpur, the district headquarters, with Dhangadhi, as well as for traffic heading from Dhangadhi to Bajhang.

The blockage has brought traffic to a standstill, severely affecting the movement of people and goods. This disruption is particularly concerning for residents and travelers relying on this route for daily commutes and transportation of essential supplies.
