Caution Urged in River Coastal Areas Following Heavy Rainfall

Achham– Residents of Achham have been urged to exercise caution in river coastal areas following heavy rainfall last night in Mangalsen and other parts of the district.

The Department of Water and Meteorology reported significant rainfall in the region, particularly around the rain gauge center in Mangalsen. The department has measured substantial rainfall in Mayadham and surrounding areas, leading to concerns about rising water levels in the small rivers flowing through these regions.

Residents in coastal areas are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety. In addition to Achham, heavy rainfall has also been recorded in various parts of Dailekh.

The department reported considerable rainfall around the Danda village rain gauge center, further emphasizing the need for caution in these areas as well. The Department of Water and Meteorology continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
