Authorities Seize Illicit Goods Valued at One Lakh in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Recent operations have led to the confiscation of contraband goods from various locations across Kailali.

In Chatkapur, Ward No. 3 of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, items including sugar, onion, and saffron, with an estimated value of 19,060 rupees, were seized.

Similarly, authorities seized 360 pieces of jeans kattu and 460 pieces of jeans (banyan) from Tikapur Municipality No. 1 ward, with an approximate value of 82,000 rupees, as reported by the police.

The crackdown on illegal goods underscores ongoing efforts to combat smuggling activities in the region.
