Gold Stolen from Home of Public Representative in Baitadi

Baitadi: In a concerning incident, gold jewelry was stolen from the residence of Lila Mahara, a ward member of Surnaya Rural Municipality-4 in Baitadi, after perpetrators broke into a suitcase.

The theft occurred on Thursday afternoon when the house was unoccupied. Ward member Mahara reported that a Rani necklace, weighing half a tola, was among the stolen items from the broken suitcase inside the residence. The police were promptly notified following the discovery of the missing gold.

Authorities from Rauleshwar Police Station have initiated an investigation into the incident to apprehend those responsible for the theft.
