Customs Evasion Goods Recovered from Two Districts
Dhangadhi: Authorities have intercepted customs evasion goods in two districts.
In Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-3, Kailali, slippers valued at 14,000 and assorted items including sugar, onions, tea leaves, soap, and plastic, amounting to 12,000, were confiscated.
Similarly, near Bhimdatta Municipality-10 Bidhut office in Kanchanpur, goods valued at 1 lakh 32 thousand 48, comprising sugar, misri, cooking oil, pulses, coconuts, slippers, and various groceries, were seized. These goods, brought in illegally from India, were discovered abandoned by a police patrol team on Thursday afternoon.
