Young Social Worker Badu Donates Books on Mahavir Pun's Autobiography
Dhangadhi: Prohit Badu, a prominent young social activist and Nepali Congress leader from Baitadi, marked his birthday by presenting a significant gift: 15 books based on the autobiography of Dr. Mahavir Pun. These books, published by the National Innovation Center, were handed over to Narayan Awasthi, assistant editor of Dinesh Khabar.
Badu's thoughtful gesture involved purchasing the books directly from Dr. Mahavir Pun on Friday and subsequently donating them to journalist Awasthi. Valued at 11,250 NPR, these books were intended as gifts for fellow book enthusiasts to celebrate their birthdays.
During the presentation, Dr. Pun emphasized the importance of young individuals delving into literature, particularly autobiographies like his own. He expressed his belief that reading such books equips youth with valuable insights and inspires them to overcome challenges.
In line with Badu's initiative, each of the 15 books will be gifted to different individuals on their birthdays, thus spreading the joy of reading and encouraging a culture of literary appreciation among the community.
