Tragic Accident Claims Life of Five-Year-Old Girl Hit by Tractor in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: In a heartbreaking incident in Kailali, a five-year-old girl, Shanti Bhatt, lost her life after being struck by a tractor in Ward No. 5 of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city. The tragic accident occurred on Thursday on the Hasanpur-Saule road section.

According to Kuldeep Chand, the spokesperson for the District Police Office Kailali, Shanti, the daughter of Devkar Bhatt from Bhagwati tol, was hit by a tractor with registration number 1 to 6204. Despite being rushed to Nirsag Hospital in Dhangadhi, she succumbed to her injuries.

The authorities have taken the tractor and its 35-year-old driver, Ramjanam Chaudhary from Bhajani municipality ward number 6, into police custody. The young girl's body has been placed in the mortuary of Seti Hospital as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident continue. This unfortunate event highlights the importance of road safety measures and the need for continued efforts to prevent such accidents in the community.
