Rare Python Rescued in Kailali: Local Efforts Ensure Safe Return to the Wild

Dhangadhi: In a noteworthy wildlife rescue operation, a rare python was successfully saved in Kailali yesterday (Thursday). The unique python was discovered in Bisanpur village of Kailari Rural Municipality-5, prompting swift action from local residents and the Area Police Office Hasuliya.

On Thursday night, vigilant locals came together to rescue the python, recognizing the need for intervention to ensure the safety of both the residents and the snake. The rescued python was subsequently handed over to the Area Police Office Hasuliya.

Emphasizing the importance of wildlife conservation, the police confirmed that the rescued python was safely released back into its natural habitat, the forest. This incident highlights the collaborative efforts of the community and local authorities in preserving and safeguarding the region's diverse fauna.
