Former Chairman of Dilashaini Rural Municipality in Baitadi Passes Away

Baitadi: Baitadi district mourns the loss of a prominent figure as Ukendra Bahadur Bohara, the former chairman of Dilashaini rural municipality, has passed away. The news of his demise was confirmed by his brother, Bhoj Bahadur Bohara, who revealed that Ukendra Bahadur Bohara breathed his last during treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital on Thursday morning.

The 45-year-old resident of Ward No. 3 in Dilashaini Rural Municipality was transported to Seti Provincial Hospital from Dadeldhura on October 29, seeking medical attention for ongoing health issues. He had been battling tuberculosis for the past three years.

Ukendra Bahadur Bohara, a dedicated member of CPN-UML Baitadi, leaves behind two sons and two daughters, according to family sources. His final rites are scheduled to take place in his hometown of Baitadi on Friday. In the local elections of 2074 BS, he had secured the position of Chairman of Dilashaini Rural Municipality, representing CPN-UML.
