CPN-UML Far-Western committee publishes a 27-point commitment letter
Dhangadhi: CPN-UML Sudurpaschim Province Committee has published a 27-point election commitment letter.
In the letter of commitment, details of the work to be done in five years have been mentioned if CPN-UML wins the majority in the elections to be held on November 4. CPN-UML intends to form a government in Far-West and claims to make it prosperous by developing the province within five years.
It has been insisted that there should be a provincial government of CPN-UML in Far-West Province to prepare the basis for good governance, development, and prosperity. By publishing the party's state-level election commitment letter, the CPN-UML claims to fulfill their commitments mentioned in the letter if they win by a majority.
The details of the work to be done by the state government in the next five years have been mentioned and published in 27 points. It has been mentioned that the government of UML will ensure good governance by reforming policy and structural areas. CPN-UML's manifesto states that by creating a 20-year provincial road map to establish the basis of a prosperous Far-West, and identifying long-term, medium-term and immediate areas of work, the province will be developed in a planned manner.
CPN-UML has proposed a policy for choosing plans based on priority rather than on allocation. The letter claims proper distribution of royalties from revenue collection, and protection of citizens' interests. It entails a plan that ensures absolute literacy in the province in the next three years by providing education to the youth so that they can earn by studying. It also claims to achieve prosperity in the province by using advanced and modern agriculture methods.
The manifesto released by UML State Secretary Dharmaraj Pathak states, the development of tourism infrastructure in the main tourist destinations of the province, initiatives to establish industrial zones in Far-West Province, and it also ensures 'one village, one product, one family, one job.’
Furthermore, it ensures the development of transport infrastructure and fulfillment of the basic needs of every citizen. UML announced that the government to be formed under the leadership of CPN-UML will work to create an environment where there are no hurdles. It guarantees education, health, and employment.
CPN UML secretary and state in-charge Lekhraj Bhatt has claimed that CPN UML will win 10 seats in the House of Representatives and 30 seats in the province. UML has claimed to provide technical education to 50,000 people in five years to create employment opportunities.
CPN-UML assures to expand the scope and facilities for social security, public service delivery, access for all citizens in financial institutions, and protection of language, art, and culture. The letter also claims to build a playground in each municipality and ensures effective peace and security in the province. The plan has been made public by CPN-UML through a letter of commitment.
