Three Biplav activists arrested in Bajhang
Dhangadhi: The police have arrested three leaders and activists of CPN Biplav for being involved in activities to disrupt elections in Bajhang. They were caught near the Chainpur court on the account that they were involved in the activities of inciting the people by targeting the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Kamal Thapa, central member of Biplav-led CPN Party in charge of Bajhang and Bajura Districts, Vikas Japrel, and another worker named Janak have been arrested, police said. Posters like let's not vote for MCC endorsers have been put up all over the market to strongly boycott the November 20 elections. . Earlier on Sunday evening, a procession program was also held in the presence of 60 members of the Nepal Communist Party.
The Nepal Communist Party CPN has said that all those who came to power by bowing down to the people have been selling land since the dissolution of the parliament and trying to make Nepal a battlefield by passing anti-national treaties like MCC, and the same action will be repeated in the country. The Biplav-led CPN says that parties that make anti-national agreements in the country should not be voted for.
