Kailali's bhajani education has been affected for a week

Dhangadhi: Teaching has been affected in schools of Bhajani Municipality of Kailali for a week. Education was affected after the flood that occurred last Saturday submerged the school and also damaged it.

Education Branch Officer Pankh Bahadur Shah said that 80 percent of schools in Bhajani municipality were affected by floods. He says, "Schools are not closed, but classes have not been held for a week. Students, teachers are coming and the school is being cleaned."

80 percent of schools in Bhajani Municipality were inundated by the flood. There are 54 schools of which 39 are institutional and 15 are private. The flood has damaged Ganeshman Secondary School, Karmeshwar Basic School, Kalika Basic School, Krishnadhwaj Secondary School, Janajagruti Secondary School and others. The education branch of the municipality has informed that there was damage to student-teacher handbooks, educational documents, educational materials, drawers, electronic equipment, computers etc. in the school.

Officer Shah said that the details of the damage caused by the flood to the school have not yet been fully received and the principals of all the schools have been called to come to the municipality with a complete description of the damage. Most of the schools were flooded with debris and mud. It is said that the work of cleaning the classrooms of the school is going on for the resumption of teaching and learning.
