Local curriculum implemented in Surnaya of Baitadi

Baitadi: Surnaya Rural Municipality of Baitadi has implemented a local curriculum from the current academic session 2079-80. The rural municipality has said that the local curriculum has been implemented from class 1 to 3.

The head of the education branch of the rural municipality, Tank Prasad Awasthi, said that since the village executive has approved the curriculum from class 1 to 3, the local curriculum has been implemented from class 1 to 3 this year.

Awasthi said that the curriculum includes local art, culture, costumes, natural heritage, religious heritage, festivals, customs etc. He said that yoga education is also included in the curriculum.
