Man arrested for faking his own abduction

Jagat Bahadur Singh has been arrested for faking his own abduction. He hails from Ward no. 5 and owns a shop at Ward no. 1 in Dhangadhi. He made a call from an Indian number demanding a ransom of Rs. 15 lakh to his family. The location of the Indian number was traced to Ludhiana, Punjab. Whilst the investigation was on, it came to be known that the man had faked the situation in order to pay off his debt.
