Three dead bodies found in Kanchanpur to be DNA tested

Dhangadhi: DNA tests will be done on the three dead bodies found in Kanchanpur on Sunday. DNA tests will be conducted for two people found dead in the sugarcane fields of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-1 and 3 people found dead near Doda River in Punarbas Municipality-10.

District Police Office Kanchanpur has said that DNA tests are being prepared as the identity of the dead bodies could not be revealed. It is said that a medical team is at the scene and DNA collection is underway and the sample will be sent to the Police Forensic Science Laboratory in Kathmandu.

According to the police, DNA collection is being done at the request of locals and public representatives. The police believe that the dead body is that of a woman.
