Dadeldhura: Kalawati Khatri of Dadeldhura is now on the brink of death. Even 3 days after the snake bite, she hasn't received any treatment.

50-year-old Khatri of Bhorkunda, Parashuram Municipality-6 of the district was bitten by a snake on Friday afternoon. He was bitten on the leg by a snake while cutting grass in his garden.

However, due to continuous rain, she could not be taken to the hospital immediately for treatment. As she could not be taken to the hospital, the locals took her to a nearby doctor. As the rural roads became worse due to heavy rain, she is currently under the care of a doctor.

Bhupendra Dhami, a local, said that she could not reach Jogbuda Hospital because the road was damaged due to rain. We took her to the Sandani health post. However, there is no treatment for those who have been bitten by a snake. The life of Kalavati, who was bitten by a snake, now depends on the doctor." said Dhami.

Dhami said that he could not reach Jogbuda Hospital because the road was blocked in many places. From Bhorkunda, one has to walk for five hours to reach Jogbuda.

On the other hand, Parashuram municipality is unaware of the incident. Tej Bahadur Singh, health coordinator of the municipality, said that he had not received any information about the incident. He said that they will arrange the treatment for Khatri.
