Dengue in 5 local levels of Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: Dengue patients have started to be found in Dadeldhura too. According to the health office, dengue has spread in 5 local levels of the district. Dengue patients were found in Amgaradhi Municipality, Ajaymeru Rural Municipality, Bhageswar, Ganyapadhura and Navadurga Rural Municipality.

Hariprasad Bhatta, vector control inspector of the health office, said that 28 people have been diagnosed with dengue in the tests conducted at the Dadeldhura hospital so far. According to him, out of 28 people, 16 are from Dadeldhura while the remaining 9 are from Baitadi and 3 from Doti.

Out of 16, dengue has been found in 9 people from Amargadhi municipality. Bhatt said that 3 in Bhageswar Rural Municipality, 2/2 in Ganyapadhura and Navadurga and one person in Ajaymeru Rural Municipality were found to have dengue. According to the Health Office, discussions are being held on finding habitats and killing larvae for control after the spread of dengue infection.
