40 families are in danger, 95 households are at risk in Purchaudi of Baitadi

Dhangadhi: 40 households have been affected by the landslide that started 27 years ago in Kamerpani of Purchaudi Municipality-8 of Baitadi. 95 households are at high risk due to landslides that have been occurring since 2052 BS.

According to a local, landslides occur here not only during the rainy season, but also during the winter. The villages of Danpur, Lamuni, Chimda, Tunent, Salla, Garkha, Peltadi, Dhannasi, Nwakot and others are at risk due to landslides. There is a water problem in the village after the landslide took away the source of drinking water.
