Man was arrested for misbehaving with journalists in Doti

Doti: A young man has been arrested for misbehaving with journalists in Doti. Dharma Rokaya of Adarsh Rural Municipality-5, who was abusing the journalist over the phone regarding the news topic, was arrested by the District Police Office Doti on Saturday.

Rokaya called the online editor Pawan Mahara on Friday night regarding the news published by Shikhar Samachar.com two years ago regarding the seizure of wood and also used the word "unlimited". Even before that, Rokaya used to call and threaten from an unknown number

According to the police, the accused Rokaya was arrested and kept at the district police office after the Federation of Journalists objected to the matter. Nepal Journalist Federation Sudurpaschim Province, Nepal Journalist Federation Doti Branch and Nepal Press Union Doti Branch have issued a statement saying that they have drawn serious attention to the incident.
