Tanker accident in Kailali kills 5 cows and injures a pedestrian

Dhangadhi: One person was seriously injured in a tanker accident at Attaria in Kailali.

On Saturday, the tanker No. 4 K 2640 carrying fuel of Nepal Oil Corporation met with an accident on Attaria Pahad Road. Lokendra Dhami of Malikarjun Rural Municipality 1 of Darchula was seriously injured and 5 cows were killed when a tanker coming towards Attaria hit a pedestrian and overturned, according to Attaria State Traffic Police Office.

The police said that the injured are being treated at a hospital in Attaria and the tanker driver is under custody in Alital in Dadeldhura.
