Sudurpaschim Public Service Commission allegedly ratified a candidate unfit for the post of a forest guard
Dhangadhi: State Public Service Commission Sudurpaschim has been accused of being biased during the physical examination for forest guards. It is alleged that the commission qualified a underweight candidate in the physical examination. Sources informed that the candidates who did not meet the weight in the practical test (physical test) taken at Banbehda in Gouriganga municipality on June 25, were approved.
Prithviraj Baduwal whose weight (weight) is mentioned in the forest guard's fitness test results serial number 5119, 26093 has been ratified. Baduwal had applied from a backward area. An examinee who was weighed with him said, "On the day of weighing, Baduwal and I were standing back and forth in line together. Baduwal was behind me. I passed the weight test.
Then came Baduwal's turn. While checking his weight, he was only 42 kg." He added, "There, the officials who checked the weight also wrote 42 kg weight on his chest and hands with a sign pen. He failed there. However, he eventually qualified." The minimum height for male candidates for forest guard should be 5 feet 2 inches. Chest width of male candidates should be 31 inches uninflated and 33 inches inflated.
Similarly weight (weight) is fixed at 50 kg. However, sources claim that Baduwal, who weighs 42 kg, approved by the authorities and made to participate in the subsequent examinations. The source said, "he saw Baduwal climbing a tree in the next round. I was surprised. At that time I remained silent without saying anything because they would reprimand me." It is alleged by the examinee who checked the weight and initially failed him was also sitting amongst the other personnel in the next round. After the physical fitness check, only those candidates who have completed running, swimming and tree climbing are allowed to participate in the written test. However, Baduwal's name is on the list for those eligible to take the written.
A Public Service Spokesperson says: The file cannot be viewed
The Public Service Commission has denied the allegation. Public Service Commission Sudurpaschim Information Officer Hiralal Chaudhary has claimed that the allegation is baseless. He said, "This may not have happened. All exams are conducted under the supervision of our expert officers. There is no possibility of trickery." Similarly, he said that the result of the weight measurement of the examinee Prithviraj Baduwal cannot be accessed now. He said that the result cannot be viewed as the file is sealed and the results of his weight measurement can be viewed only after the written examination. Public Service Commission Sudurpaschim Chairman Yagyaraj Bohra has also claimed that there may not have been such an error. He said that if that happens, he will put it on notice.
