A family takes ill after consuming wild mushrooms in Baitadi

Dhangadhi: Five people from a family have taken ill after consuming wild mushrooms in Baitadi. A 14-year-old Sunita Joshi, 12-year-old Savita Joshi, 10-year-old Kiran Joshi, 8-year-old Sonia Joshi and 4-year-old Divya Joshi of Melauli Municipality-5 of the district have taken ill.

It is said that they are being treated at the Primary Health Center in Kesharpur, Melauli. On Tuesday morning, they cooked and ate the mushrooms picked from the forest near their house. Soon after they started vomiting and were taken to the health center at five o'clock in the afternoon. It is said that their condition is better now informed the health center.
