Four members including the far-western commander left CPN (Maoist)
Dhangadhi: Four members of the Far West have announced their resignation from the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand. General Convention Organizing Committee Member and Chairman of Farmers and Squatters' Organization Om Prakash Pun, Central Advisory Member Shankar Bahadur Khadka, General Convention Organizing Committee Member and Mahakali In-Charge Dal Bahadur Dhami and Special Committee Member Ramesh Pariyar have announced their resignation from the party.
The four have issued a joint statement urging to be united in the direction of building a united and unified communist party. Pun, who is also the former Seti-Mahakali in-charge, told Dinesh Khabar that he had decided to split from the Communist Party of Nepal, "Even after leaving the Communist Party of Nepal, we have not yet decided which party to join. Discussions have been held with Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal at the Center. We will probably reach a conclusion soon."
