Dhangadhi: The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain in different parts of the Far West on Friday. According to Meteorologist Binu Maharjan, it is likely to rain in the hilly and some Terai areas of the far west on Friday.

"The monsoon has not yet reached the far western states. However, light rain is expected in some areas due to westerly winds. In the Dhangadhi area, the possibility of rain is very low even today. Even if it rains, it will stop in a short time." Maharjan told Dinesh Khabar.

Currently, there is a general effect of monsoon winds in Province No. 1, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces of the country and local winds in other parts of the country and east-west low pressure line in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar of India.

According to a bulletin issued by the Division on Friday, light rain with thunder and lightning is currently falling in a few places in Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki. The rest of the land is generally clear with partial cloud cover.
