Rainfall in Dhangadhi may take another 2-3 days: Meteorologist

Dhangadhi: The Water and Weather Forecast Division has said that it will take a few more days for the monsoon to spread across the country. Raju Pradhanang, a senior meteorologist at the Division, said that the monsoon that entered from Eastern Nepal has now spread to Gandaki through Madhes.

According to him, it will take a few more days for the monsoon to become active across the country. Even in the far western states, the monsoon has not been active yet. Extreme heat has affected people's lives in Kailali and Kanchanpur districts of the state. "It may take another two-thirds of the day for rains to fall in Dhangadhi," meteorologist Raju Pradhanang told Dinesh Khabar.

The department issued a weather forecast bulletin on Monday morning. The bulletin states that there will be normal cloud cover in Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Monday and normal to partial cloud cover in the rest of the country.

The bulletin states that the weather will be partly to moderately cloudy in the hilly areas of other states including Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki on Tuesday and Wednesday and partly to partly clear in the rest of the country.
