Death of a man returning from India in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: A man returning home from India has died. The deceased has been identified as Dhan Bahadur Shah, 35, of Chaurpati rural municipality Ward No. 1 of Achham. Kailali District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Ved Prakash Joshi said that the cause of death could not be ascertained.

"Some people, including Shah, were staying at a hotel in Dhangadhi Bus Park after returning from India. Shah was treated at Seti Hospital after he fell ill. After recovering, Shah left for Achham and after reaching Faltude in Kailali, Shah fell ill again. He died on the way to Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment." DSP Joshi said.

Meanwhile, the relatives of the deceased are preparing to file a complaint saying that Shah was killed. Police said that a postmortem of the deceased was being conducted at Seti Hospital and details of the incident could not be ascertained at present. DSP Joshi told Dinesh Khabar that the three persons who came with Shah were taken under control and investigation was underway. It is suspected that the person who came with Shah was involved in theft in India and there was a dispute between them on the same issue.
