Dhangadhi: The famous Ghodaghodi wetland area of ​​Kailali, which is listed in the World Ramsar Area, will be declared as a "Bird sanctuary" of the country. According to the Ghodaghodi Lake and Tourism Development Board, preparations have been made to declare a bird sanctuary by organizing a program in the Ghodaghodi Lake area on March 11.

DR Chaudhary, executive vice-chairman of the board, informed that the Bird Century is being declared with the objective of supporting bird conservation and tourism development. He said that all preparations have been made for this.

He said that they are preparing to declare a Bird sanctuary during a ceremony at Ghodaghodi Lake premises on March 11. There are 360 ​​species of birds found in the Ghodaghodi wetland listed in the World Ramsar area.
