Preparations to open public service in the far west, the local level has not yet submitted the details of the posts

Dhangadhi: Even while the Public Service Commission is preparing to open the advertisement, the locals of the far west have refused to provide the details of the vacancies. According to the law, if any post in the civil service becomes vacant, the details should be sent to the Public Service Commission within two months. However, the local level in the far west has been accused of refusing to provide details of the vacancies to the Public Service Commission as it has recruited people close to the contract.

After the formation of the local level, the Central Public Service Commission had advertised the vacant administrative and technical posts at the local level in 2076 BS. In the far western regions, only a few local levels had sent details of vacancies as soon as the local level elections were held based on the accessibility.

Liladhar Bhatta, a young man who is preparing for the public service, has alleged that after the formation of the state public service commission, every local level has to send the details of vacancies to the commission regularly. "The people's representatives at the local level have not sent the details of the vacancies to the public service as they have given jobs to their people on a contract basis," he said.

The Provincial Public Service Commission has stated that it is continuously sending letters to all the 88 local levels of the province to send the details of the vacancies. Mayadevi Joshi, Information Officer of the Public Service Commission, told Dinesh Khabar that the Public Service Commission (PSC) had pointed out the demand form on January 3 after not receiving details from all the local levels. The Provincial Public Service Commission has written to the local levels seeking details of the vacancies. The first letter was sent on January 18. After not receiving the details, we have written to the local level again on January 11, "he said.

According to Rule 13 of the Civil Service Rules 2050, if any post becomes vacant, the head of the office has to send a request for a permanent civil servant to the Public Service Commission with details related to such post within two months. However, out of 88 local levels, less than two dozen have sent details of vacancies to the Public Service Commission, according to Public Service Commission.

At the local level, a large number of technical and administrative posts are vacant, but the people's representatives are seen threatening to give continuity to the people close to them.
