Dhangadhi: Garbage is dumped everywhere along the Mohanapul-Attaria 6-lane road at the entrance of Dhangadhi. Due to which the stench has spread around the road. According to local Pramananda Nath, it is difficult to walk on the road due to garbage. He complained that the garbage was affecting his health. 'We walk this road regularly. There is a lot of problems because garbage is being dumped everywhere, "he said. The area used by most pedestrians is littered with garbage.
Due to which the torment has increased in arrival. Local traders have been dumping garbage indiscriminately while the local government is indifferent in its management. Santosh Bhatta, a pedestrian found on the 6-lane road, said that the citizens were suffering due to the negligence of the traders and the concerned bodies. He said that the disease also spreads quickly when one has to walk on the dirt road regularly. "They are suffering because of the stench of dust on the one hand and garbage on the other." Garbage all over the road due to negligence of shopkeepers.
He also complained that the concerned bodies do not pick up garbage on time. The condition of the surrounding roads is like this, wherever the common people have to suffer. ' Local traders have said that there is a problem when the sub-metropolis does not pick up garbage on time. 'After 5/7 days, the sub-metropolitan vehicle finally arrives to pick up the garbage. Till then, the stench spreads due to the rotting of garbage. We would have been comfortable if we had picked up the garbage on time, "said local Pavitra Devi Sharma. There is no provision for garbage collection on 6 lane road.
Entrepreneurs have been throwing garbage and burning it in the same place for a few days. Chief of the Community Development and Sanitation Branch of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis, Tank Bista, said that the number of garbage trucks was less as the road was under construction. "The road is under construction, so garbage trucks on the 6-lane road only go at certain times. In some places, the car may have been missed, 'he said. He also requested the traders not to make it smelly by throwing garbage indiscriminately and to remain vigilant. They throw garbage in a row in front of the shop.
If everyone puts garbage in a bucket or bag, it will not be so much garbage. We will send a vehicle if there is garbage in one place, "he said. The stench is spreading in Dhangadhi as there is no garbage management center. Although the federal government's regional urban development project has a budget for the construction of the management center, the plan has not been implemented as the sub-metropolis could not find a place.
