Mahara murder case in Baitadi: Four accused jailed for trial

Baitadi: Four people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Kamle Mahara of Lekdanda in Surnaya Rural Municipality-4 of Baitadi have been sent to jail for trial.

Ram Bahadur Madai of Surnaya Rural Municipality-5, Shankar Singh Mahara, Ram Bahadur Mahara, and Harisingh Mahara of Surnaya Rural Municipality-4 has been executed, said District Police Office Spokesperson Inspector Bodhraj Ojha. Mahara of Lekdanda in Surnaya Rural Municipality-4 was found dead on the night of September 20.

Police have arrested four people on the charge of Mahara's murder and produced them in court through the government prosecutor's office after the investigation was completed, said spokesperson Ojha. Police have completed their investigation with the murder accused, but the final verdict is yet to come from the court.
