In the far west, two Jaspaka MPs split, leaving six parties in the state assembly.

Dhangadhi: Two members of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) in the Far West have also split.

Krishna Bahadur Chaudhary, leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) 's far-western state parliamentary party, has chosen the Democratic Socialist Party (LSP) on Monday. According to Election Officer Prem Bhatta, Chaudhary went to the Election Office in Dhangadhi on Monday and identified himself in the Lok Sabha.

After she was elected Lok Sabha, now only Malamati Kumari Rana is in the state assembly on behalf of Jaspa. Rana, who was elected from the then Rastriya Janata Party in the last election, had been supporting the Mahanta Thakur group in the past.

But after the party formally split, she remained in the party. With the split of JSP and UML, six parties have been formed in the Far Western Provincial Assembly.

The Unified Socialist Party has become the first with 14 MPs. Similarly, the UCPN (M) is second with 13 MPs, the Nepali Congress is third with 12 MPs and the CPN-UML is fourth with 11 MPs.
