A child drowns in a river in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A child has drowned in a river in Kanchanpur district. A 12-year-old boy drowned in the Sanwora River in Amarpur of Shuklaphanta Municipality-11 on Sunday.

Dilip Sunar, a 12-year-old boy of Chure Rural Municipality-3 of Kailali slipped and fell into the river while going to his maternal home in Kanchanpur.

The deceased has been identified as Karna Bahadur Bohara, said Inspector at Jhalari Area Police Office.
