Congress ward convention to be delayed in Baitadi

Baitadi: Although the Nepali Congress has scheduled to hold a nationwide ward level convention on September 3, it will be later than scheduled in Baitadi.

Secretary of the Nepali Congress Baitadi Bir Bahadur Bista informed that it has been decided to hold the convention in all 21 wards later as the necessary preparations have not been made for the convention. He said that the convention would be delayed due to insufficient preparation for the convention.

Meanwhile, Election Officer Pushparaj Joshi, who reached Baitadi, said that polling officers are yet to be appointed in all the wards for the ward convention.
