A 12- year-old from Dadeldhura bags the second position in World Handwriting Competition
Dhangadhi: Nirajan Dwariya, who is studying in Dadeldhura, has bagged the second position in the World Handwriting Competition. He stood second in the competition organized by the headquarters of the World Handwriting Competition.
The 12-year-old, who is studying in class 9 at Mountain High School Bagbazar in Dadeldhura, hails from Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-3 of Doti. According to his father, Lok Dwariya, the representatives of the World Handwriting Competition Headquarters had reached the school and collected a sample of Nirajan's writing.
"My son stood second in the age group of 8-12 amongst participants from 152 countries. Each year, the US headquarters in New York called and distributed prizes. But this time, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the certificate will be distributed in October" he said.
