38 new Coronavirus cases in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Of 318 swab samples tested at the Seti Provincial Hospital laboratory on Friday, 38 people tested positive.

According to Seti Provincial Hospital’s Information Officer Dilip Kumar Shrestha, 7 people of ward no. 5, 3 from ward no. 2, 3 from Ward No. 4 and 2 from Ward No. 1 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan tested positive. Similarly, 8 people of Bhajani Municipality, 6 people of Lamkichuha Municipality, 2 people of Godawari Municipality, 1 person of Gauriganga Municipality, and 1 each from Ghodaghodi Municipality and Tikapur Municipality tested positive.

Information Officer Shrestha said that 4 more people tested positive. Meanwhile, there are growing concerns over less and less swab samples being collected from people showing symptoms of COVID-19. Doctors are urging local authorities to collect plenty of swabs from people who might have contracted the virus.
