Nine gamblers arrested with Rs 75,000 in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Nine gamblers have been arrested in Dhangadhi along with Rs 75,000 in cash.

According to police, nine gamblers were arrested with Rs 75,210 while they were gambling at Krishna Singh's house in Bogati Chowk in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 2. Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratik Bista said that they were arrested along with two packs of cards.

Among the arrested are Ram Bahadur Air, 34, of Krishnapur Municipality, Kanchanpur, Janak Raj Joshi, 43, of Bhimdatta Municipality, Ward No. 6, Narendra Malla, 33, of Kedarsyu Rural Municipality, Ward No. 4, Bajhang, Milan Bhandari, 28, and Pawan Bhatta, 40, of Ward No. 2, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality. Similarly, 27-year-old Nitu Chand, 38-year-old Dil Bahadur Singh, 38-year-old Sher Bahadur Saund and 38-year-old Nar Bahadur Dhami of Chure VDC have been arrested, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bista.
