Four arrested for gang-raping girl in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: A 21-year-old girl has been gang-raped in Dhangadhi. The incident took place at Dadeldhura Restaurant and Bar in Ward No. 4 of the sub-metropolis on Tuesday, according to police.

The girl had lodged a complaint with the police alleging that four people called her to the hotel and raped her. Sanju Pal, 20, of KanchanpurBhimdatta Municipality-9, Hemant Dayal, 20, of Amargadhi Municipality-1 of Dadeldhura, Deepak Bhatt, 24, of Navdurga Municipality-2 of Dadeldhura and Tank Dhami, 21, of Ajaymeru Village Municipality-1 of Dadeldhurahave been arrested.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratik Bista said that further investigation is underway.
