Seti Provincial Hospital starts treatment for Coronavirus by using the plasma therapy method

Corona infected will be treated with plasma therapy at Seti Provincial Hospital. According to the criteria set by the National Health Research Council (NHRC), investigative treatment will start using plasma therapy method.

Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of Seti Provincial Hospital, said that the patients will be treated for Coronavirus through the plasma therapy method.

"If a patient is serious, the Seti Regional Hospital is prepared to treat them through plasma therapy," he said. We urge those who are infected to donate blood. "
Plasma therapy requires the blood of a person who has recovered from a Coronavirus. Since the body of a person who has recovered corona produces antibodies to fight the virus, plasma is released and transfused to the infected patient. Doctors say that antibodies made in the body of a previously infected person can kill the Coronavirus by injecting plasma into the infected person.  The Seti Hospital has urged the Corona recovered people to save the lives of patients by donating their plasma.

Plasma therapy is claimed to be an effective way to cure in patients with Coronavirus who have low immunity.
