13 more confirmed cases in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A test conducted at the laboratory of Seti Provincial Hospital on Saturday confirmed corona infection in 13 more people of Kailali. In the last 24 hours, corona tests have been conducted on 901 people and confirmed infection in 13 people including nine men and four women in Kailali.

Information Officer at Seti Provincial Hospital Dilip Kumar Shrestha said that seven people from Lamkichuha Municipality of Kailali, three people from Kailari Village Municipality Ward No. 6 and one person from Bhajani Municipality Ward No. 7 have been infected.

According to him, corona has also been confirmed in two persons from Dhangadhi. A 51-year-old man of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 1 and a 35-year-old woman of Ward No. 5 have been confirmed infected, said Shrestha, Information Officer of Seti Provincial Hospital.

With the addition of 13 infected people on Saturday, the number of confirmed cases in Kailali has reached 1,419. More than 1,200 confirmed infections have been claimed in Corona, while four have died.
